The Croft Hotel - Formerly, The Corning - was built in 1929. Bill Croft bought and owned the business. He changed the name from The Corning to The Croft in the 1950’s.
Bill and Mary Croft were the owners and brother Bob Croft was the manager. Bill owned the business until 1969 at which time he sold it and retired to White Rock, BC.
A gentleman from Kamloops bought the business in 1969, who then in turn, sold it to someone in Smithers, BC.
