Cemetery Entrance - The city of Prince George renamed its premier park (formerly Fort George Park) to Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park in 2015.
The park had previously been the site of a Lheidli village and it contains the cemetery for the Lheidli T’enneh. Drawn here is the entrance to this cemetery.
Lheidli T’enneh First Nation - the Lheidli T’enneh are an indigenous community of people in and around Prince George, British Columbia.
The name “Lheidli” means: The People from the Confluence of the River” in the Carrier language, referring to where the Nechako River and the Fraser River and their traditional territory.
